Community Event Building

Alli McGill has spent more than two decades designing and executing large-scale community events—not in conference centers for paying guests, but in neighborhoods, on streets, and in spaces where dignity and accessibility aren’t afterthoughts. They’re the whole point.

From health fairs serving hundreds of unhoused neighbors to pandemic volunteer mobilizations that drew thousands, Alli brings a rare combination of logistical expertise and community-centered philosophy to every event she helps plan. She knows how to build lasting partnerships with healthcare providers, corporate sponsors, and civic organizations. She knows how to manage volunteers safely and at scale. And most importantly, she knows that the best community event isn’t the one that looks impressive from the outside—it’s the one where every person who attends feels like they were personally expected and welcomed.

I know how to make a small budget feel like a big one. Decades of producing large-scale community events have taught me where to spend, where to save, and how to make every dollar count.

“I move easily between rooms with decision makers and a conversation on a curb with someone who needs help finding shelter—and I’ve found that the same honesty works in both places.”
